Impressive Shopping Trip

My goal for the site is simple - help share the deals I'm finding through my favorite blogs and help match up coupons so that you too can save money for what you want to do! Whether you need to save money just to make ends meet, or you want to put everything you save aside for a vacation, pay off your mortgage sooner, get a new home, etc. - the choice is yours! You'll be suprised at just how much you can save.

The first few posts are just going to be a recap of my shopping trips - and here is tonights shopping trip to Price Chopper.

Price Chopper can be tricky, yes they double coupons - but only to 50% of your order! Then the customer service rep has to manually enter your coupons. So far I've been o.k. with this - but I've heard stories that you need to buy "filler items" this hasn't happened to me, and I have found that if I go during the evening and look for a male cashier it works better! Go figure, but Sundays and female cashiers for some reason just don't work out the same. I know there is probably no differance - but I've lowered my bill more with the male cashiers and during weeknights !

Tonights trip:

Included: 3 Greek Yogurts, 1 double tub of I Can't Believe it's Not Butter, GV Vanilla Extract, GV Bouillon Cubes, 1/2 gallon Over the Moon Milk, and 2 Ronzoni Smart Taste.
Price before advantage savings & Coupons: $17.31
Price I paid: $1.55 - yup, $1.55 for all this!!

How I did it: 3 $1/1Greek Yogurt coupons found in 12/13 SS, 2 75c/1 Ronzoni Smart Taste found in 12/13SS, $1/1 Over the Moon online coupon (their website) and $1/1 ICBINB Coupon. The coupons all doubled (I can't believe it!) and that helped pay for the other items that I didn't have coupons for. I was laughing at the total! Amazing!!!! I saved 91% on my "quick trip" to the store.
